Quick look at Mario Kart 7

Let's take a quick look at Mario Kart 7.

Mario Kart 7 is the seventh installment of Nintendo's Mario Kart video game series. Just as previous games in the series there are 8 courses with 4 tracks each, with 4 of these courses containing all new tracks while the other 4 courses containing remade tracks from previous Mario Kart games.

Mario Kart 7 also contains new items such as the Tanooki Tail and the Fire Flower. There is also a new super item called the Lucky 7 which gives you seven items (as seen in the image below).

Here's a quick tip: You have better chances of getting powerful items the farther back of the pack you are, and you get weaker items the farther ahead you are.

Mario Kart 7 comes with some new features such as a glider for you go kart so you can glide in the sky when you go off certain ramps, and a submarine propeller for when you go underwater. These two features makes for some interesting new tracks to race on. I certainly have to praise them both for the unique ways there used in game. The retro courses brought back from the older games were also slightly modified to adapt to these new concepts.

Unlike other games in the Mario Kart series this one uses the 3DS 3D screen to display 3D graphics and does so quite well. Although during game play you forget about things like 3D but it does add a bit to the excitement.

Here's a quick tip: You shouldn't play video games for long periods of time. After playing for awhile make sure to take a break and rest your eyes.

I only just got the game the other day but so far it's really good.

  1. I love the most graphics and controls of Mario Karte 7 which are truly amazing. I have played this game first time with my friends and could not stop to play. I wish that it would be come back for its new series as soon.
