It's the sequel to the infamous Milon's Secret Castle on the NES, this is another damsel in distress video game with some amazing visuals and an opening cutscene that seem impossible for a 16-bit game. Like in the prequel, Milon uses a bubble shooter as his main weapon in this action platformer, but the game is a lot less secretive.

The Legend of Zelda – Return To Hyrule (Fan Fiction) Introduction

It happened a long time ago, we the people of Hyrule lived in peace, protected by the kind and just rule of the royal family. Life was great with the bountiful harvests we were blessed with each year, the calming breeze that blew across the land was a gentle one that seemed to show the peaceful days ahead, that is until that one wind.

One morning a harsh, overpowering wind blew in all directions. We should have known something was going to happen, but since that wind went as quickly as it came we didn’t bother with it, but that night when all the kids were asleep, it began.

I awoke that night to the sounds of people running outside, the people of Kakariko Village seemed to be in a panic. The all kept looking in one direction and when I looked I saw an eerie red glow coming from the north east, the direction of North Castle Town. I then saw my father outside the house and I called to him with worry in my voice. He turned to me with a feared look in his face, but it quickly turned to a smile, but I could tell he was forcing it to try and calm me down because his eyes were still full of dread. He told me that he and some other swordsmen in the village were going to go assist the people of North Castle Town, and that I should go back to the bed I’ll be back in a few days. He turned away from me and said the line I will never forget, “Don’t do anything hasty, protect your mom and friends, but never give up your own life.”

Those were the last words he ever told me…

I couldn’t get to sleep that night as I watch the eerie glow afar, my father was there. Why was he and other swordsmen sent there? Are they fighting something? These questions roamed in my head while the glow seemed to spread to the castle itself.

When the sun finally rose the next morning, it seemed that the glow had diminished quite a bit, however ominous dark clouds swirled around North Castle Town. Soon I felt a pain in my heart and I knew something was wrong; it seemed my mother could sense it as well. It was then I knew my father wasn’t coming back.

It was later told to us children that the castle had fallen and monsters were starting to appear outside the village. Even though we children were scared the elders only smiled and said not to worry, the hero of legend will surely come to are aid. This story of a legendary hero was hard for some to believe, but since all the notable elders kept telling of the story during this time, even the grownups were able to settle down.

One night however, I was awoken being carried in my mother’s arms. Behind us I saw are village on fire. She told me to try and stay calm; I didn’t know what was going on so I just hung to my mother tightly. We started wondering around Hyrule, but whenever we got someplace we would soon have to leave. The monster army seemed to attack wherever we went. After running around for what seemed like weeks, we and other people who joined us fled to the desert and left Hyrule behind.

After going through the desert for a few days we came across a canyon with many caves in its walls, at the bottom of this canyon was a river. Everyone was tired and couldn’t run anymore, so they decided to build a new home here. It was tough, the wind was harsh, but we were alive.

And that my children, is the story of how we left are home in Hyrule and became the Desert Refugees.

This is an interesting topic I've been seeing around the net lately, mostly around the topic of video games. People keep talking about how this would benefit them in the future, but when Sony uses it for there PSP Vita people complain. Well let me give my opinions on all this.

The reason Sony is having problems concerning this is because they require you to purchase a special device to store the downloaded game, this product costs a lot of money making buying the physical copy cheaper. Now people complain about this since SD cards could hold more data then there device but for cheaper. Now the extra cost is probably to pay for piracy protection included in the device, however the prices are still unreasonable for this.

But we shouldn't look down on Digital downloads, it has it's good points.

Theses games would be good for Digital Download

Digital downloaded copies can actually help us if the companies figure out how they can use them correctly. One why concerns the recent games The Last Story, Pandora's Tower, and Xenoblade

January 2012 Calender

With my site getting only some many views I decided to find out why. Upon investigation I learned that most of the content I have on this site (being sprite comics) are not searched for very much on google. To get more views I decided that I will need more than just sprite comics, so I decided to make other content and bonus content to keep viewers here.

For bonus content the only thing I could think of at the moment is something people would use, but I had to make it something people could just download. So I decided to start making calenders and this brings us to the title of this post. I've added a new page where I will keep the calenders at easy reach for everyone, but I will also make new blog post to let everyone know when a new one is posted.

So we come to January. No better time to start making calenders then at the beginning of the year.

I didn't really know what to put into the calender since this is the first calender I've made so if you have any ideas let me know in the comments.

Quick look at Mario Kart 7

Let's take a quick look at Mario Kart 7.

Mario Kart 7 is the seventh installment of Nintendo's Mario Kart video game series. Just as previous games in the series there are 8 courses with 4 tracks each, with 4 of these courses containing all new tracks while the other 4 courses containing remade tracks from previous Mario Kart games.

Mario Kart 7 also contains new items such as the Tanooki Tail and the Fire Flower. There is also a new super item called the Lucky 7 which gives you seven items (as seen in the image below).

Here's a quick tip: You have better chances of getting powerful items the farther back of the pack you are, and you get weaker items the farther ahead you are.

Magikarp was one of the original 151 Pokemon which debuted back in the first Generation of Pokemon (Red / Blue / Yellow / And Green in Japan). They were created based on a legend where carps would jump over a Dragon Gate to become dragons. The name Magikarp comes from combining the words magic and carp.

The most noted of the Royal family wasn't the king but the Queen. This is because it is rumored that a sacred gift is passed on between the woman of that Royal family. The Queens and Princesses are blessed with tremendous Wisdom. With this wisdom have lead the kingdom into harmony and have united the tribes of many of the creatures that live in Hyrule.

Game Review Special - Super Mario Kart Wii

One of the best games I got for my Wii home console is Super Mario Kart Wii. Not only can you race around race tracks that come from a world of complete fantasy, you can do it on go-karts or motorcycles.

The game feature a wide cast of Mario Characters including, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, King Boo, Bowser, Yoshi, Toad, and many more, You can even use your own Mii character.

Like previous Super Mario Kart games you can get an arsenal of items and weapons to use to bring you victory in your races. Theirs the classic shells and mushrooms and other stuff for you as well. All you have to do to get one of these nice items is to make contact with an item box to get you a random item.

There are many, many courses in this game and even a lot of old classic ones as well. In fact I'd say that this game has the best selections of tracks in the games history. The vast veriaty gives players a lot of fun for such a game.

The game can even come with a Wii Wheel, a plastic shell to put your Wii Mote in. This give you great feel of driving for the players.

Even the online mode is good. There is really no slowdown and any lag is done to the connection of your opponents. Meaning no ones game will lag just what you see of others . This actually is very good as this causes no real interference in game.

To Me this game is a win and if you don't have it,well you should.
