Star Trek has been a popular series for a long time inspiring countless parades, but you never see a restroom on there star ships. Why? Quite simple actually.
As technology advanced they found a way to replace the need of the toilet. In that far off future they use the transporter tech to simply teleport waste to be recycled. That's right they don't even need a bathroom, because they never have to go. They use the same method to remove internal gas so there is also no farting.
um they do have restrooms. they are in strategic locations all around the ship like ten forward and in each personal's quarters
