Character Spotlight Amy Rose

Amy Rose (formerly known as Rosy the Rascal) is not your typical pink hedgehog, and don't let her cute appearance fool you either. She can actually be quite scary and at times can be the scariest character in the series, especially if you happen to be a blue hedgehog named Sonic.

Amy Rose was first described as being 8 years old when she first appeared in Sonic CD but was changed along with her appearance in Sonic Adventure for the Sega Dreamcast. She is now described as 12 years old and just slightly shorter than Sonic. She even became one of the main characters of the series and Sonic's self proclaimed girlfriend.

Amy's weapon of choice is her Piko-Piko Hammer which she seemingly pulls out of thin air, and she may actually be packing more then one as seen in an episode of Sonic X where she throws several at Eggman's flying fortress because he was being too loud and annoying. She also has other moves but ultimately prefers to use her hammer. She is also quite fast most likely gained from chasing after Sonic for years, although she's still nowhere near as fast as her blue hero.

In my fanfic and sprite comic series “Pregnant Amy Rose” she is mysteriously pregnant and it doesn't take long before we find out that Sonic is NOT the father, in fact no one is. Upon hearing about this cruel twist of fate from Amy, Sonic quickly runs away before she tells him there is no father. We later find out the reason she has become pregnant but so does the evil Dr. Eggman who then looks for a way to use this to his advantage.
